Business Giseness: My Journey from Self-Doubt to the First Episode

Filmmaker Amarnath

As someone who owns a podcast studio, you’d think launching my own show would be a walk in the park. But let me tell you, it wasn’t. In fact, it took me longer than I’d like to admit. There were a lot of invisible barriers that held me back. self-doubt, camera shyness, worrying about how I looked and sounded, and the nagging question of whether I’d have anything meaningful to say.

But despite all that, there was this one thing that kept nudging me forward: my fascination with real business stories. Not just the glamorous success stories we all love to glorify, but the messy, uncertain, human side of entrepreneurship, the stuff we often hide behind metrics, jargon, and curated Instagram feeds. That’s how Business Giseness was born.

I wanted to create a space where these real, unfiltered business journeys could be shared. A space where we could talk about resilience, creativity, and grit in entrepreneurship—because that’s what business truly speaks, not just success or failure, but everything in between. And since business doesn’t speak just one language, I knew this channel had to be multilingual. It’s about connecting with as many people as possible, no matter the language they speak.

And what better way to kick things off than with my dear friend, Shubhankar Pradeep, Founder of Forion Analytics? He was the perfect first guest for this journey. We sat down together, shared a ton of laughs, and dived deep into the story behind Forion Analytics—its challenges, victories, and everything in between.

That day, I realized something important. To everyone who has ever delayed starting something because it wasn’t “perfect” yet—maybe perfection isn’t the goal. Maybe, just maybe, the real goal is to start. And that’s exactly what Business Giseness is all about: starting the conversation, sharing the journey, and growing together.

As I sit here, reflecting on this first episode, I feel incredibly grateful, grounded, and most of all, excited for what’s to come. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to explore more stories with incredible entrepreneurs who are shaping the future, one small business at a time.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank my amazing digital marketing team. Without their help, none of this would have been possible.
